Our Story

A small, family-owned company

Meraki started with a simple idea: great rides change people. We run small, fully supported mountain-bike trips in incredible places around the world. We handle the logistics, the routes, the support, and the details so you can focus on riding hard, laughing a lot, and soaking up the experience.

We keep our groups small on purpose so we can foster real connection, flexible pacing, and the kind of camaraderie that only happens after long days on trail. We ride sick trails, eat good food, and stay in places that feel comfortable and authentic.

We chose our company name because the word Meraki means to put a piece of yourself into what you do. That spirit shapes every trip we run. We're a small, family-owned company, and we keep the heart of the experience personal. We ride alongside you, build bikes together, fix flats on the trail, and share the kind of moments that turn strangers into friends.

More than anything, we want every rider to feel welcomed, supported, and connected. The relationships formed along the way are just as important to us as the miles we ride. If you love bikes, exploring new places, and ending the day dusty, tired, and happy, you'll feel at home here.

Our Manifesto

What Meraki means to us

Meraki is a Greek word that means to put a piece of yourself into what you do. It's commonly used to describe creating something with care, or taking pride in the details. That's why we chose the name.

Meraki was built from a belief that great experiences don't happen by accident. They come from people who genuinely care about the outcome, and who believe in the value of shared experiences.

Every trip we run, every trail we ride, every partnership we build, and every guest we welcome is approached with that mindset. We're mountain bikers first, and we love to share the joy of discovering a new trail, riding with good people, and ending the day talking about the moments that made everyone smile.

Those experiences have given us a lot over the years, and we believe in giving something back. That means supporting trail building and advocacy in the places we visit and the communities we call home. The trails we enjoy today exist because someone invested their time, energy, and resources into creating them, and we believe it's our responsibility to do the same for future riders. Whether that's supporting local trail networks abroad, helping develop new opportunities in mountain communities, or contributing to projects in New England, we're committed to being more than visitors.

It also means ensuring that travel benefits the people who make it possible. The local guides, drivers, businesses, restaurants, and families we work with are an essential part of every experience we create. We consume responsibly and give back intentionally.

When someone chooses to travel with Meraki, they're trusting us with their time, their finances, and their safety. We never take that lightly. Our goal isn't simply to show people great riding — it's to create experiences that feel personal, welcoming, and memorable. The kind of trips that leave people with new friends, new perspectives, and stories they'll tell for years.

That's what Meraki means to us.
Showing up with care.
Paying attention to the details.
Supporting the communities and trails that make these experiences possible.
And putting a little piece of ourselves into everything we do.
